Questions for doctor Krongrad, about the trial and last results

Dear Dr. Krongrad,

Last summer my urolog diagnosed chronic prostatitis/ chronic pelvic pain syndrome and epididymitis. For myself, I now for sure it are bacteria. I did get the six weeks of antibiotics (levofloxicone, one per day), it greatly relieved the pain, but did not cure the prostatitis. I do not want to live with the pain and tiredness caused by the inflammation, so I definitely want my prostate removed.

Last tuesday I called your operator for information. I asked her if the results of the operations were still good. Her answer was yes and she said that you had done five or six operations till than. So probably you can give an update of the last three or four results. I also asked how many operation are needed for a reliable statistic result and what the time schedule is for the trial. Suprisingly she answered that there is no trial going and there isn't one planned either. I was ashtonished because I've read about a nonrandomised phase II trial on the internet. So could you please tell me will there be trial, and if so, with all do respect when may I expect the results.

Thanks in advance for your reaction.

Yours sincerely,

Dutchie

Hi Dutchie,

I'm sorry you are also suffering from this mess. You should consider going to Dr. Bahn in California before you get your prostate removed. He injects antibiotics and steroids directly into the prostate and most people experience significant relief. Since you only had prostatitis for about a year, there is a chance you might be cured. I believe the whole treatment costs less than $2,000 and you get to keep your prostate. I will be going there myself sometime in December.

I'm also interested in knowing about Dr. Kongrad's trial.
bahns treatment is only a bit over 1k for a color ultrasound and 3 injections. Def needs to try before prostate removal.

I would also like to know the story behinds the trials. If there no longer in the works could you please let the people know.
