Prostate normal size -17- but erection dysfuction persists

Hi,

This is my first post.

I was diagnosed with prostatitis at the age of 17, after being hit in the testicles with a knee one year earlier.

Instant symptoms where significantly (50%) reduced erection, and also serious erection dysfunction in many body positions.

The only positions that could work for an erection and ejaculation to happen where those where I would apply pressure (e.g with my legs while standing) to the pelvic floor area.Even then I would have to stand still to get a decent erection and ejaculate

Prostatitis was treated "succesfully" with only a few months of Mesulid, and even after all these years ( I am 30 as of this writing) I have erectile dysfuctions in most positions.Mesulid helped to fight the Prostatitis and my erection became stronger (not 100%, and the particular form of erectile dysfuction continues).

My recent test, one week ago showed a normal size 17 for the prostate, and I have been prescribed with Cialis to improve the erection in the position where the muscles might be loose. But then again this is not treating the core of my problem (the difficulty maintainijg erection in certain positions and ejaculating), it merely improves from an 80% erection to a 90% erection in the positions that I am already functioning relatively okay.

The doctors agree that there might have been a permanent damages to the muscles in the area but do not advise a surgery because of high risks.

Does anyone experience the same erection problem (it is not psychological). As one can imagine it is very difficult to enjoy sex , especially with a condom (given that the erection comes and goes depending on the position)

And also do Kegel exercises for men or any other form of physiotherapy has proven helpful?

Thanks,

Alexander
