Good question. Let's remember that clinical prostatitis is a set of symptoms. The question is if hyperechoic and hypoechoic findings in any way correlate with and/or suggest causes of prostatitis symptoms. I am aware of no data that would examine any association of hyperechoic and/or hypoechoic lesions and prostatitis symptoms.<br />
