If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.: been suffering for 6 moths now
it all started with epidymitis which seemed to clear up but i have been left with prostatitis symptoms.
I have had 2 urine cultures that were negative and was given antibiotics for ten days a couple of times with slight improvement each time.
The most frustrating thing is that the doctors that i saw didn't think of prostatits.
After a few moths of frustration I whent back to the GP and got a differant doctor that put me on trimethoprim for 2 moths and said to come back if it don't work after a month.
