About 8 years ago I had a prostate infection it was the worst. Went to my GP and prescribed me 2 weeks of antibiotics and haven't had a problem until 5 years ago.

My wife and I were (and are) trying to start a family and so I was referred to a Urologist that specializes in male fertility. Come to find out I had an infection. Ever since that visit I have been battling Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis and haven't had much success in beating it. Every 2 to 3 months the same thing. Back on the Antibiotic Merry-go -round.

I don't have very much pain like others here but with the pain I have I can sympathize. With the depression and stress on trying to conceive probably isn't helping matters. Perennial pain, back pain are my problems. Burning urination is minimal if i drink enough water.

I started a low-carb diet this week to see if this will help. I'm a big man so don't think its going to hurt dropping a nice chuck of weight. I also stopped drinking and eating spicy foods a year ago hoping that would help.
