If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.: 49 years of age. I have had 5 flare-ups of prostatistis over the last 5 years, 3 have been cured by antibiotics, last one seemed to go away after 6 months on its own, currently on third month of pain, antibiotics have had no impact.
