If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.: I'm 42 diagnosed 13 years ago. Have some pain, some discomfort, main issue is feeling like I need to urinate. I have tried every pill imaginable with zero results. Had lots of blood in semen from May 2012 till just this February 2013. It has caused anxiety and panic attacks. I now have to take anxiety medication to deal with the constant need to urinate. Luckily I do have some good days, but most days are tough.
