23 years old.

Urinary tract infection in 2005. Gross whole-stream hematuria but no physical discomfort. 5 days of oral antibiotic therapy eliminated all symptoms.

Urinary tract infection in 2007. Dysuria, frequant urination, and gross end-stream hematuria. 5 days of oral antibiotic therapy eliminated all symptoms.

Inability to sleep due to constant urge to urinate in 2008. Symptoms under control 1 day into a 7 day antibiotic therapy (Ciprofloxacin, chosen without urine culture and sensitivity test), but the symptoms did not compleletly resolve on day 7. Symptoms eventually diappeared a few days after the antibiotic therapy.

Constant urge to urinate in 2009. 7 days of Ciprofloxacin(chosen without urine culture and sensitivity test) did not resolve the symptoms, neither did 7 days of Nitrofurantoin(chosen according to urine culture and sensitivity, but doctor believed the bacteria to be a contaminant as no white and red cells and leukocyte esterase found) . During the course also developed pain in the base of the penis shaft at the end of urination. Now suffer from low back pain, occasional perineal tightness, pain around the anus and burning in the urethra after ejeculation, increased urinary frequency after ejeculation. Noticed blood stain on the part of underwear touched by the penis tip in December 2009, then referred to urologist by GP. Expressed prostatic secretion shows inflammation in the prostate. symptoms aggrevated 24 hours after prostate massage, and subsided gradually in the next 4-5 days. Given 60 days of Levofloxacin without culture and sensitivity of EPS and post-massage urine. This therapy yielded no result.
