If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.: hello i was diagnosed about 6 years ago. tried diffrent antiabiotics, flomax, cadura, elmiron , elavil . i do not have the relief that i expect. more so i am confused if i have ic or prostatitis. most doctor think i is prostatitis but the only treatment that helped me was a bladder distention and uretharl dialation. i tried this treatment again but had no relief.
