If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.: I am 65 years old. Diagnosed with Chronic Non Bacterial Prostatitis at age 36. I underwent a TURP at age 46 which did not help. I have pain in the right lower pelvic (groin) area and burning and stinging into my urethra. I can handle the pain Ok but the burning in the urethra is terrible. I have also experienced depression with this desease. Also have some pain upon ejaculation.
