If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
age: 39.
duration of symptoms: Four years. But severe only recently.

treatment: Only recent:
Antibiotics- doxcyline for ten days
and seven days of 1g ceftriaxone bid. No progress. Going to try levofloxacin. Will post results later.

My problem has completely gone. The problem seems to be with drinking water from reverse osmosis filter. It had high ph, and gave overactive bladder problem.This was misdiagnosed as prostatis. After stopping drinking the water, now the problem has completely has completely gone. Now I am just drinking boiled tap water.
