Okay so what seems to be the problem with many cases is that nobody can recall what caused their problem. Me however, I know exactly what caused it. Ever since 15, I've had terrible masturbation habits. I would go 3-4 weeks without ejaculation. I always liked the challenge of seeing how long I could go without masturbating. Then I'd go 1-2 weeks of doing it anywhere between once and four times daily. I know that this is what caused my problem.I feel like an idiot for living my life that way and I also feel like a pervert.

Every morning I wake up and wish I could go back to 15 and tell myself to do it 3-7 times weekly like a normal person. I am now 19 years old, almost 20, I have been living with this problem for almost a year. I've given up on antibiotics as no bacteria has ever been found and my stomach hurts from them now. My symptoms are mainly irritation in the testes, occasional urethral pain and the worst symptom is a burning tense nerve pain that rides from the right side of my right testicle and shoots down my leg. That is the worst symptom, If I could get rid of that, this wouldn't even be so bad. I do get some pain in my rectum but not often, I'd say less then once a day if that makes sense. I know many people are looking into this LRP surgery but I just don't think that's an option for me. I've read too many cases where things go wrong.

Before all of this, I was the happiest man. I hung out with people all the time, I spent lots of time with my family, I always took up new hobbies and I loved working. Now I find living to be the hardest challenge of all. My first year of college was a blast! I didn't even care about getting laid, I just loved all the new friends and cool stuff I was doing. I never had any sexual partners since grade 11 so I know bacteria isn't an issue. I got this at the end of first semester in first year and it's been downhill ever since. I'm starting my second year now and something needs to change before I give up. I'm not quite sure what give up means yet, that's something I'm working on. I still hang out with my friends but it's never enjoyable. I keep a straight face on and participate in activities but I don't have as much fun. I've changed my diet and stopped exercise which hasn't done anything.

I know my prostatitis/symptoms have been caused by my periods of abstinence and excessive masturbation. I never even knew what the prostate glad really was until I got this and I realized I've taken the worst care of it. I don't blame doctors or God for my pain. I know that this is something I brought on myself and hate myself for it. Here are two questions I have. 1. From the years of mistreating my prostate and imbalancing my hormones, do you think that it is completely shot now and that there is no chance of healing at any level? and 2. If you think my prostate isn't completely ridden, how would I go about recovering? (when I say heal and recovery, I don't mean completely. I know complete healing of prostatitis is still foreign. I just mean enough to enjoy my life a little again)

Thanks for the read, I wish the best to everyone else with this. I'd also like to know if theres anyone else who suspects their prostatitis be from poor care.
Signs that prostatitis is getting worse?tag:prostatitis.ning.com,2013-08-08:2201951:BlogPost:429642013-08-08T04:02:44.000ZTrevor McIsaachttps://prostatitis.ning.com/profile/TrevorMcIsaac

Hey guys, I've been really off and on with my symptoms lately and just wanted to get some feedback. My urethra tneds to burn maybe twice a day. I maybe get perineal pain two or three times a day as well. However, I'm getting an odd stomach ache and it is very powerful. I've been having it since June where it would come and go but I'm starting to wonder. The source of the pain feels like it's behind my belly button so I don't know if it's prostate related. I've been having it since June where it would come and go but I'm starting to wonder. The source of the pain feels like it's behind my belly button so I don't know if it's prostate related. However, it is possible that my prostate pain is radiating however, I don't feel any aching in my pelvic area, just that hard stomach ache. Is it possible that my prostate is pushing up against my bladder and causing a chain reaction to my stomach? I asked my urologist about this and he said to see how if it resolves itself by the next appointment (September).
A good notetag:prostatitis.ning.com,2013-06-15:2201951:BlogPost:412162013-06-15T21:01:35.000ZTrevor McIsaachttps://prostatitis.ning.com/profile/TrevorMcIsaac

I've managed to get out of my depressing funk a bit. It's enough to make a difference. I went from picturing a dead end to a unique determination. I have my goals to get over this and my goals for when this gets better. Refraining from many activities hasn't been easy. But I know that some day I'll be back at it. I haven't felt much perineal pain lately and my urethra burn has been quite managable. It's this testicular pain thats a huge culprit and if this lasts for any while longer, I think…

I haven't felt much perineal pain lately and my urethra burn has been quite managable. It's this testicular pain thats a huge culprit and if this lasts for any while longer, I think I'll be done with the guy. He had a good run. I have an appointment with my doctor in less than a week with a referral to a urologist. I've had this so long, I know the difference between an honest opinion and them trying to avoid some work.
Next step to taketag:prostatitis.ning.com,2013-06-14:2201951:BlogPost:412782013-06-14T00:04:49.000ZTrevor McIsaachttps://prostatitis.ning.com/profile/TrevorMcIsaac

I am at the point where very little is enjoyable. I can hardly enjoy a video game or movie at this point. At times, the urethral burning gets to me but I find If I drink enough water, it's not as bad. However, my testicular symptoms are starting to annoy me and have me sleeping for a majority of the day. This makes me question what I really have. I'm refraining from sexual and physical activity until I figure the next step as no relief is provided anymore. No doctor has really said anything…

No doctor has really said anything felt weird about prostate. Everyone says it feels like you're average young adult prostate. My testicles on the other hand have been atrophied with redness and heaviness with a sore spot on the right one. I'm thinking Varicocele and Epididymitis are suspects. If my doctors can prove either or is the case. I'm prepared for radical surgery. I'd rather store my sperm, cut the epididymis and right testicle than carry on. I know several people who have lost a testicle and have the same sex life, however, I'm unaware of the effects from removing an epididymis. Everyone has said prostatitis but I have no golf ball feeling really. Just a really sore nut and delicate urethra.
