"To preserve the option of fathering children, you may want to consider banking sperm. That seems like the safest way to do that if you are thinking about surgery.   There is a thread on injections here. And an article posted here."

"Hi Dr. Krongrad, thanks for replying, what would you suggest in a case like mine? I am 37, married 3 years ago, no children and I would like to have at least 1. What would you suggest to try for someone like me? LRP doesn't sound to hard/risky…"

If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
it is one year and 4 months that I am suffering from this terrible desease. It started with pain in my testis, high frequency urinary symptoms, after suprapubic pain (in the bladder) more to the left hand side, and pelvic pain. I have no pain in my perineum. I was diagnosed with prostatitis after DRE, and my prostate secretion after prostate massage was cultured a few times. The result was Streptococcus Viridans and Staphilococcus Hominis. 3 rounds of antibiotics didn't help. 1st Septrim 3 months didn't kill the bactiria. 2nd I had 7 intramuscular injections of tobramicine (one daily) - didn't kill bacteria; and finally 2 months on Levofloxacine. My cultures after the levo are now negative, but my symptoms still remain. Mainly PAIN in the bladder, suprapubic, pelvic and testis.

Also tried phisiotherapy with an especialised team here in Madrid during 4 months, and no results.

Tried Ozonetherapy, - no results.

I am thinking now in intraprostatic injections, I am desperate.

Not sure what else I can do, nothing seem to work

Any advice?
Thanks for reading and for your support
