Acute and chronic prostatitis discussion. Arnon Krongrad, MD, moderator.

Well, I have had 3 prostatic injections by Dr. Bahn so far approximately 10-14 days apart.  I did not have any significant improvement after the first 2 but I have noticed some improvement after the 3rd.  Also, we have seen improvements in the ultrasound.  I had an enlarged left lobe and a bulbous and distended right seminal vesicle (vesiculitis).  Now, the blood flow has increased in the left lobe and the lesion is much smaller, about a 50% improvement according to Dr. Bahn.   The right SV is showing a more uniform echotexture....more close to normal seminal fluid and the shape is less distended.

It has been 6 days since my 3rd set of injections.  I feel my pain has been reduced overall by 25%.  I have a 4th injection scheduled for next week.

If anyone has questions about the procedure, please ask.

I am glad it works for you...in my case it was a disaster, all my symptoms increase after the first shot....and it took almost one year to come back to initial level of symptom.

it was the same protocol as Dr bahn but the injections have not been done by Dr Bahn.

Those injections from Dr Bahn put me in a lot of pain for a year following the procedure. Only LRP has given me long term relief.
