Acute and chronic prostatitis discussion. Arnon Krongrad, MD, moderator.

guys im 23 years old from Israel.

2 months ago ive had UTI infection caused by E-coli.

Ive treated it with cipro for a few days - stopped taking it and felt good after i stopped taking cipro (weird huh)..i felt good for like a week...and then it started...pain in my rectum - testis - penis - fequent urination and low back pain..

the most hard thing is the pain in my anus ...i just cant function with it =(.

so now im taking cipro (nearly 7 days) and will continue for a few weeks.

idk if i have chronic prostatitis bacterial or CPPS ....

what do you guys think? the fact that i had UTI means now i have CBP or it doesnt matter much and i have CPPS?

i made a few uri/semen check but im on cipro so...

im really confused and i want this thing to go away already :((( im suffering and im going to the unviersity in a month so im screwed ...my life sucks now and i cant stop crying :(.

i would really appreciate some help and tell me what the chances i will be cured?

thanks guys and sorry...im just so sad and have nothing to do about it

Hey anyone here? :(
Im in so much pain im going to commit suicide :( i cant live like this anymore :((

im now doing better with 90~95 % symptoms reduced, if anyone has the same story i can share w.e i did to reduce the symptoms,

i hope we all get better and be pain free, ive been in a lot of shit during my lifetime ...and nothing compares to this disease.

im praying everyday to whatever is out there that someday someone will find a cure,

im studying computer engineering and now seriously thinking to change it to a medical degree(urologist especially), so one day someone 2x years old will knock on my door with the same symptoms and i will ectually believe him and somewhat care about him(no urologist did in my case. 0/8 or more i probably forgot someone).

im now only taking probiotics 1 pill/ day and cialis 1 pill/day for another 2 weeks and i will be meds free afterwards.

ive had constant pain in the last 2 months or so, and now for some reason my symptoms reduced to 5~10% in the last 2 weeks +-.

im hoping it will never come back to even 20% of the pain ive had a month ago.
