A post from a woman with Irritable Bowel Syndrome touches on an issue often identified by men with chronic prostatitis: Her doctors do not believe she has pain. Even as she resigns herself to the limits of medical know-how, she experesses a deep frustration that they simply do not believe that she is in pain.
