Dear All, I decided to have a spinal cord stimulator operation for my chronic pain. Its 4 weeks post operation and I am doing well. I certainly have had some pain reduction and sleeping much better at night. Its still early days and whether the benefits last is still a big question. I had a TURP when I was 30 and from then on the symptoms started. I had constant bladder infections and for the last ten years I have had pretty constant chronic prostatitis. I have been on methadone and now on hydromorphone for the pain. I have tried botox injected into the pelvis twice. For the last ten years I have had the condition. For the last three years it has been treated with strong opiods fistly methadone and now hydromorophone. Had a number of procedures including (TUNA) trigger point injections, botox in the pelvis. Currently considering spinal cord stimulation.
