- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- I am 40. I Have had C.P. since I was 23 but didn't know until I was 29. I thought the few flare ups during my 20's were isolated occurances. After a flare up at 28 I realized that I had C.P. I saw a Urologist and took various antibiotics. Then I tried accupuncture and it's accompanying herbal regimen all to no avail. ( though the herbs seemed to help some of the symptoms). Accepting it as incurable I eventually gave up. I have felt the usual anxiety and depression and untill recently isolation. Now I am back again hoping maybe I overlooked something or that something new is available.
