- Not Diagnosed formally, I am a doctor and I hope I am wrong but I had a number of Prostatitis specific symptoms for 2 months now, after a clear MSU and 6 weeks of Cipro with no change in symptoms I am very disheartened. I am depressed and anxious. Reading all the terrible stories over the internet made things worse definitely. I know that It is early and my psychological component is very high right now, but I am contemplating surgery! maybe for the future! as a reassurance.
Symptoms are frequency, urgency, anal and rectal pain with a tight anal sphincter, burning urethera without and during passing urine, sitting is difficult for a long period of time (an hour is max)
I am In the UK and no family for support, you can imagine going through this on your own. I am terrified of the effect it might have on my future and career.
