- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- 53 years old. I have been dealing with this for 6 months. I am on Flomax and have tried Cipro and Doxycycline. I have had an ultrasound of the testicle area. PSA numbers started out at 4.7 then dropped to 4.1. I have increased the Flomax to twice a day with no luck. Urologist wants to do an ultrasound of the prostate if my PSA numbers don't drop by October.
