- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- Diagnosed in 1962 after discharge from US ARMY,where I had a perforated appendix, poison thru out my body, long time in hospital in Germany, after discharge I was diagnosed with numerous things one being Chronic Prostatitis and received a disability from the VA. Over the years I have had complications but none serious enough to seek medical attention. On 2-2010 my PSA was 7 , biopsey showed prostrate cancer. I contacted the VA , they agreeded to treat me however they would not increase my disability due to them stating that Prostatitis had no relation to Prostrate Cancer. I choose not to have VA do my treatment and have completed Radiation and waiting on the Seeds. I beleive that they are connected and I need proof and try to convence the VA. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
