- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- Have not yet officially been diagnosed. I am 55, and have had two sets of antibiotics, dietary changes, antacids and have had no improvements. I am frustrated with my urologist, as I don't feel he is doing enough analytical work on my problem, which is discomfort in the perineum and frequent urination. While on antibiotics, I lost about 10 lbs (was at 182 lbs), so I was concerned about cancer although my PSAs have always been low.I had a biopsy and now have painful ejaculation with blowwd after a week.
