- What is your score on the Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index (posted on home page)?
- Need to evaluate. I was around a 5 two years ago.
- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- Chronic non-bacterial since 2/2006. I have dribbling issues after urination (probably related to some BPH). Burning sensation during urination (dysuria), painful, on fire ejaculation, followed by discomfort and itching (lower third of penis). Increased sense of urgency, mild nocturia. Symptoms can ease periodically but never go away. Generalized discomfort at times in the groin area and anus, but never painful. Burning intensifies with certain foods. Treatments have been unhelpful . . . I can live with the dribbling, would love to recover a normal orgasm. Quality of life . . . well you get the picture. Sex is no fun.
