- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- I have been diagnosed by my urologist as having what's known enlarged prostate. My symptoms are: the feeling of big ball between the testicles and the rectum especially when sitting and sleeping. I also have been feeling some sort of "smooth throbbing" in that area that is very bothering besides an occasional throbbing in the whole pelvic area that did not exist before. My urine is not very frequent but there is always dribbling after I urinate and I keep having the feeling that I don't empty my bladder completely. I rarely get up at night to urinate. The other problem is that my left testicle is getting bigger and bigger for unknown reason and I'm not sure if that is related to my prostate problem. My symptoms started more than a year ago and I'm 31 years old. I have been very depressed out of this issue and I took antibiotics, like sipro, for more than six months without feeling any improvement and right now I have been taking flomax and proscar for more than two months without any positive results.
