- Hi, I am 39 yo Dublin taxi driver, originally from Romania, leaving in Ireland with my fammily for 10 years, the firs symptoms came last december, I eat a chilly kebab, and drinked few beers , in that night, then when I went to bed I had to pass the urine every half hour. I went to my GP two days after, He gave me Amoxicilin for a week, with no results, then I've got zithromax , augumentin,ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, with no results at wall. my GP refer me to urology dept. after 2 months, but I had to stay on the waiting list for 9 monts to be seen by a specialist. I went on a big depression waiting so long time, then in March 2010 I've decide to go in Romania for check up. I have been to one of the most famous clinic Lukmed, and I so prof. Lucan. He recommend me to proceed TUMT (microwave therapy) for prostatitis. After the TUMT I had to flu back in Ireland and came back to work, was horrible I start to have burning between my legs, and penis, specially after drinking water, and feel my bladder not empty after 4 months of nightmare and depression, I came back to Romania and saw another Prof. Coman. He took me a sperm simple for test who came back negative,and perform a ultrasound ,and he told me this TUMT was a mistake. He gave me some multivitamins and Tianli ( kind of sexual stimulator) and ask me to have sex much as I can. I came back again in Ireland in September, but my symptoms got much worse, I mean when the bladder gets full , I have burning feeling between my legs and penis with some relief after urination, but when I am driving my life its a nightmare. Finally after nearly one year I've been seen by an Irish urologist, very young who put me 2 weeks on Vesitrim 5 mg and Ofloxacin again. Its ridiculous because I am in this illness for nearly one year , and he gave me abx that I had already in the past. He didn't even perform a DRE. And booked me again in 2 months. I cannot work at the moment, life its miserable and feel unable to keep my family. I am strongly consider a LRP in UK because its very close, but my wife doesn't really want this.
