- If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis, please tell us your story: age, duration of symptoms, treatments, results, and the like.
- Aged 52. First had pain around 3-4 years ago, whilst cycling.
Pain and discomfort then became the norm regardless of whether I was on a bike or not. Symptoms: various and variable, in no
particular order, pain in gut, testicles, head of penis, prostate area, rectum, buttocks, back of thighs. Fever and general unwellness. Golfball/burning up backside.
Treatments: Antibiotics, 2 courses no result.
Alpha blockers, no result.
Several Dre, Psa, Blood tests, nothing found.
Camera into bladder, nothing found.
Camera up backside, nothing found.
Barium enema, nothing found.
MRI, nothing found.
Reached limit of conventional medical treatment. Tried other
approaches, Supplements such as Prosta Q, changes to diet,
oesteopath, accupunture, chiropractor, and some others.
No result. Consultant had suggested Ibuprofen which does
take the edge off it, sponge donut helps when sitting.
