- not cancer,but chronic bacterial prostatitus. i am 66, ex pro squash player, and junior pro cyclist. So been sportsman all my life , now retired and living and cycling in Portugal!! have had symtoms for 5 weeks now ,started with 20min trips to bathroom and burning sensation, no other symptoms, Dr has tried (8days of ciprofloxacin x2 a day ) no change!! now on 21days of prulifloxacin (1 aday). had 1st test,scan on prostate, and semen test...awaiting reults! near end of anti`s..
