Sure, painful ejaculation is one of the signs typically seen with prostatitis, along with lower abdominal pain, perineal pain, dysfunctional urinary voiding, and the like. However, like headache, prostatitis is really a diagnosis of exclusion, so it's important to rule our such other possible problems as kidney stones (as you've started to do), back injuries, and the like.
