My prostatitis symtoms

Dr Krongrad that you much for answering our questions. We so much appreciate you!!As for as my symtoms:  frequency, burning threw the tip of my penis, spiral urine stream.  The pain seems to intensify after orgasm.  Feels like I'm peeing glass sometimes. I have a very high pain tolerance but this constant pain is driving me nuts. The only time the pain subsides a little when I'm on my feet and busy doing something.  Thank u again for your response!!!!See More

"Hard to know. Many ejaculatory ducts are dilated but are associated with absolutely no pain or other symptom. What do you mean when you say you have "typical" prostatitis symptoms? What are they?"

Ejaculatory Duct Causing pain

Dr. Krongrad can EDO cause pain similar to prostatis? I have had typical prostatitis symtoms for 2 years. I have recently had a TRUS that showed a calcification in the verma area that appeared to be in the ED. Also on the same side it showed a dilated ED .65cm in the area that it enters the prostate. Could this be causing all of my pain? How difficult is the to treat?See More

This nightmare started 2 years ago. I thought I had a UTI, my symptoms started with urgency.  The symptoms  gradually got worse. Pain in the tip of my penis, burning urethra, now it feel like the seminal vesicles are infected. I feel sore in this area. I have seen 3 urologist and a Gp physician these have no idea on what to do!! I have been on bactrium for 6 wks, doxy for one month, levaquin one month, and now Avelox. Which I have been on for 6 wks. With no improvement.  I finally talked a urologist to order a prorate/demon culture which came back as staph E. I was put on levaquin after this culture. The doctors have said aww that probably a contaminate.  I have had urine cultures done and none has came back with staph.  How can I get these Doctors to treat the culture results. I work in a hospital so it could be a resistant staph. I so frustrated with these doctors. I don't think they understand the misery I in. Please can anyone help??  My quality of life has diminished by 50%.  And when I have sex it seems to flare up my symptoms.
