- I am 29, received oral sex twice in january, both times got a uti and antibiotics to cure it. The second time I noticed after antibiotics I never felt the same, always had a little penis irritation, Got colitis really bad i think from antibiotics, felt sick, with fever at times. lost all sex drive. and painful ejaculations for 2 months, but I toughed it out since no insurance, lost 40 pounds, went to the ER they said i had an infection somewhere, gave me antibiotics intravenously and prednisone ,than after I felt better, they sent me on my way with prescriptions of metronidazole i believe and prednisone if needed. I do have ulcerative colitis as well since the age of 22. then noticed i was peeing a lot after out of the hospital,looked it up online and sounded like prostate issue so asked my dr to do a psa test, psa was 16, than he gave me 2 weeks of antibiotics and retest PSA was 17.5, since then I have seen a uro, I took cipro 2 months,PSA down to 5,now im on septra for a few months, felt ok most of the time since ER visit. Until now. while on septra starting to seem like low sex drive and odd feeling ejaculations is coming back. I dont think septra is working, Im really looking for a chance at a permanent cure. I cant live like this, antibiotic therapy is killing me, feel weak and achy all the time. They have done numerous pee checks for bacteria all came back negative, no semen check has been performed. I need help and am thinking maybe you can save me. I will be looking more into it. Thank you so much for having this website. It really helps .
