Acute and chronic prostatitis discussion. Arnon Krongrad, MD, moderator.
Last week was kind of a common experience for me since I've had chronic prostatitis. I was in so much pain duirng the week I could barely get out of bed or off the couch. I even needed a sleeping pill one night and a Percocet another night to get to sleep.
But then Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday, I felt pretty good. Still felt uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as earlier in the week. Slept well and my energy level was higher.
Does everyone go through something similar? BTW, I do track my pain levels throughout the week.

That was how I was before I went into what I consider remission. I'd have several great days in a row, then be hit with 5-10 horrible days, then 4-6 great days and so on.
Today was a good example. I've been feeling pretty good since Friday, went for a run today and am in pain right now. Frustrating, isn't it?
So, are you better now?
For the most part. I still have days now and then where I feel like I'm peeing more than I should, and I sometimes have a very mild discomfort in my penis and testicles. But I'd say about 90% of the time I'm completely symptom free. I started feeling better when I started taking AllicinMax everyday. There's a discussion about AllicinMax in the Treatment group.
